Kepco, Sprott invest in Mexican solar

Korea Electric Power Corporation (Kepco) and the Canadian fund manager Sprott have agreed to buy 49% in three solar projects in Mexico from Canadian Solar for an undisclosed amount. The transaction marks the first investment in Mexico's solar energy sector for Kepco and Sprott, the Canadian developer said in a press release. The 370 MWp portfolio involves the 119 MWp Horus, the 125 MWp Tastiota and the 126 MWp El Mayo projects in the state of Aguascalientes and Sonora, Canadian Solar said. KEPCO
