China's State Power Investment Corporation (SPIC) has sold BRL975 million ($234 million) in debentures through its subsidiary UHE São Simão Energia in Brazil, according to the local capital markets association Anbima. SPIC, led by Itaú BBA, issued BRL775 million in 10-year notes at 3.54% over the IPCA consumer price index and BRL200 million in five-year notes at 0.58% over the DI interbank lending rate, according to Anbima.
