Peru’s Contugas, a division of Colombia’s Grupo Energía de Bogotá (GEB) has closed a five-year $335m loan with nine lenders, two sources close to the deal told LatinFinance on Monday. The pair of bookrunners had recruited the lenders to participate in the deal back in March, but the deal took time to close due to documentation, legal considerations and ministerial approvals, given Contugas is owned by Colombia state-owned GEB, according to one of the sources.
