Petrobras said it has transferred the shares in two natural gas affiliates in Uruguay to the central government.
With the deal, Brazil's state-owned oil company has exited the natural gas sector in Uruguay as it moves away from the midstream and distribution sectors to focus more on exploration and production.
Petrobras did not say how much it earned from the transfer of shares in Distribuidora de Gas de Montevideo and Conecta to the Uruguayan government.
