IDB Invest issues first notes in Dominican pesos

IDB Invest said it has raised DOP500m ($9.54m) from its first bond sale in the Dominican Republic. The three-year notes priced at fixed rate of 8.8% and received orders from local pension plans and other fund managers, IDB Invest said in a press release. The multilateral lender said it will use the money to finance peso-denominated loans in the Dominican Republic. It has approved six loans for more than $358m in the Dominican Republic since 2016.
