Portugal's EDP said it plans to invest BRL2.5 billion ($626 million) in the state of São Paulo through 2023, including money for power distribution and solar energy projects. The company will spend BRL1.5 billion on its power concession in São Paulo, which reaches 5 million customers in the regions of Alto Tietê, Vale do Paraíba and Litoral Norte.
