Mexico's antitrust authority Cofece said it has informed "various" financial institutions that they are under investigation for "absolute monopolistic practices" in the sale of bonds issued by the government.
Cofece defined the illegal practices as contracts, agreements or arrangements among competitors that fix prices or restrict supply or demand, among other results.
The agency did not name the bookrunners in its statement, but local press reports said that Bank of America, Barclays, BBVA, Cit
