The Universidad Tecnológica del Perú (UTP) has obtained a medium-term loan for $30m from Scotiabank to help fund its expansion plans, according to a source close to the deal.
UTP has backed the senior secured loan with a mortgage and receivables rights, the source said. It will use the money to buy land and build new facilities, he added.
