Brazil's Biotoscana has confirmed that its controlling shareholders, Advent International and Essex Woodlands, are in talks to sell the São Paulo-based pharmaceutical company.
Advent and Essex "have been negotiating with certain investors, but no decision related to any possible transaction involving the sale of control with any investor has been concluded to date," Biotoscana said in a securities filing.
