The Peruvian government has award six broadband concessions with $358m in estimated project costs, the private investment promotion agency ProInversión said.
China's YOFC partnered with the local telecommunications firm Yachay to win four concessions in the regions of Áncash, La Libertad, Arequipa and San Martín. The Bandtel consortium, with the Peruvian companies Consorcio DHMONT, Telkom and Bantel, took two concessions in Huánuco and Pasco.
