Sluggish volume in the Latin American bond market is expected to persist for at least the next couple weeks, sources tell LatinFinance.
Although no deals are expected for the remainder of the week, there may be a potential window next week, one DCM banker said.
“You’re going to have to see investment grade bonds and quasi-sovereigns come to market first -- investors still want to buy securities they can make money on,” the DCM banker said.
