Brazil's BNDES approved 10 loans totaling BRL7.6bn last week to fund electricity distribution infrastructure projects across nine states, according to a statement from the development bank.
The borrowers are all power distribution companies based in the states of Pernambuco, Maranhão, Bahia, Pará, São Paulo, Minas Gerais, Mato Grosso do Sul, Paraná and Rio Grande do Sul.
