Italian utility Enel is considering selling three to four power plants in Brazil and Mexico to reduce its debt load, according to a source working in the LatAm energy sector.
Just a month after assuming control of Brazilian energy unit Eletropaulo, Enel Brazil Investimentos Sudeste could offload renewable energy facilities and carbon or biomass operations, the source said.
