Mexican President-elect Andrés Manuel López Obrador said he has picked Octavio Romero to be the next CEO of the state-owned oil company Pemex.
AMLO has also named Rocío Nahle to be the energy minister and Alberto Montoya as deputy energy minister. He has also chosen Luis Abelardo González to lead the administration's renewable energy policies and appointed Manuel Bartlett to run the federal utility company CFE.
