Chile's Atlas Renewable Energy said it has entered the Mexican market and acquired the Guajiro solar power plant from SunPower for an undisclosed amount.
The 101 MW photovoltaic project in Nopala, Hidalgo is expected to come online in the second quarter of 2019 and generate close to 300 GWh per year, Atlas said in a press release.
