Up to three consortium remain in the hunt for Petrobras' TAG pipeline business, after a group comprising Patria Investimentos and Blackstone rescinded interest in the Brazilian assets.
French energy company Engie and Australian investor Macquarie are each leading a team, while Emirati wealth fund Mubadala has teamed up with EIG Global Energy Partners to bid for the gas pipeline business, two sources said.
Santander is financial advisor to state-run Petrobras, LatinFinance reported in December.
