Colombia's Procaps has signed a seven-year, $100m loan from Bancolombia, Davivienda, Banco de Crédito del Perú and Sabadell, LatinFinance has heard.
Procaps backed part of the loan with promissory notes guaranteed by the pharmaceutical company's businesses in Colombia and El Salvador, according to a source close to the deal.
PPU was the legal advisor for Procaps in Colombia, while Arias acted as counsel in El Salvador. Brigard Urrutia advised the lenders in Colombia.
