Red Eléctrica buys transmission line in Peru

Spain's Red Eléctrica said it has agreed to buy the transmission line concessionaire CCNCM in Peru from Bow Power Energy for €181m ($206m). CCNCM won a 30-year concession contract in 2012 to build and operate the 372km Carhuaquero-Cajamarca Norte-Cáclic-Moyobamba transmission line and four substations in the northern regions of Cajamarca, Amazonas and San Martín. The concessionaire opened the line in November 2017 and now earns around $18m in annual revenues, Red Eléctrica said in a press releas
