The government of Santa Fe in Argentina said it is negotiating a $300m loan from the World Bank and the IFC to pave urban roads throughout the province.
"We are going to take charge of financing this for the cities and at some point we expect get it back from the federal government," Governor Miguel Lifschitz said in a press release.
The provincial government will provide ARS3.14bn ($88.6m) in funds to the 363 the cities and towns that have submitted road improvement projects, Lifschitz said.
