CGN New Energy, a division of China General Nuclear (CGN), could soon acquire the Brazilian wind power company Atlantic Energias Renováveis from Actis Capital for roughly BRL4bn ($1.07bn), a source following the transaction told LatinFinance.
"This deal could be announced imminently and is expected to close by the end of the year or at the beginning of 2019," the source said.
He also said that CGN has hired BNP Paribas to advise on the deal, which will see the Chinese state-owned energy company
