Brazil's IPO market will likely pick up speed in the second quarter of next year, as Banco BMG, Rede D'Or and Tivit prepare to make their debuts on the B3 stock exchange in São Paulo.
In the meantime, the secondary market offers opportunities for equity investors, said Fernando Szterling, the deputy head of equity capital markets for the United States and Latin America at Santander.
"The follow-on market is fair game, but there is a very short window to issue this year," he said.
