Chile's Inversiones La Construcción (ILC) said it has agreed to spend CLP32.9bn ($48.7m) to increase its stake in the local lender Banco Internacional (Baninter) to 67%.
ILC has offered to acquire 406m shares in Baninter for CLP77.27 per share, or a total of CLP31.3bn, and also buy 453,000 shares in Baninter Factoring for CLP3,427 per share, or CLP155bn, the investment division of the Cámara Chilena de la Construcción (CChC) said in a securities filing.
