The IMF said it has completed its second review of Argentina and commended the government on "continuing efforts to advance [its] economic reform program."
After IMF's board approves the review, the multilateral agency said it will disburse $7.62bn of a $56.3bn financing package. Argentina reworked the stand-by agreement in September, after the peso plunged against the dollar in 2018, and the IMF agreed in September to make available $19bn through the end of 2019.
