Genergiabio Corrientes has financed the construction of the first biomass power plant in Argentina with a syndicated loan led by the Panama-based infrastructure lender CIFI. Banco Ciudad, Itaú, Cofides and BAS Coporation also participated in the $43m facility. Genergiabio Corrientes has financed the $67m project with 43.2% debt and 24.6% equity, according to a source involved in the deal.
