Naturgy Energy said it has sold BRL265m ($70.1m) in infrastructure debentures to refinance two solar power projects in Brazil.
"These are two of the first issues with these features carried out in Brazil for the financing photovoltaic plants, although it is a common way of financing wind-power and transmission projects," Naturgy said of the infrastructure bonds, which are tax exempt for local retail investors and foreign investors.
