Caballero Verde acquires equity in defunct Uruguayan airline

Panamanian investor Caballero Verde has purchased all outstanding shares from Latin American Regional Aviation Holdings (LARAH) and Uruguayan airline Pluna. Local sources said LARAH owned 75% of Pluna. According to a statement, Caballero Verde is now the sole owner of Pluna and will seek financial compensation from the government of Uruguay which, it alleges, is responsible for the failure of the airline in 2012.
