Banco General increased its latest syndicated loan to $800m from $500m, drawing down on the three-year facility last month.
The Panamanian lender got the loan at 125bp over Libor and at least 17 banks contributed to the transaction, two loans sources confirmed.
Five bookrunners - Bank of America Merrill Lynch, JPMorgan, Mizuho, Standard Chartered and Wells Fargo - launched syndication in October last year and obtained the following:
