CAF's debt infrastructure fund approved $80m in loans to fund a road construction program in Montevideo, Uruguay. Following its capitalization last October, this is the first project the infrastructure fund will be involved in. The 23-year loan will be disbursed gradually over 36 months, according to local media reports. CAF representatives were not immediately available for confirmation.
