Banco General returned to the cross-border bond market after a lengthy absence, raising $550m in 4.125% 2027 notes. The Panamanian bank nominated Bank of America Merrill Lynch and JPMorgan as joint bookrunners and the pair started talks in the low-to-mid 200bp area over US Treasuries. Spreads came in by 5bp at launch, before the leads priced the transaction with a 4.125% coupon to yield 4.241%, or 195bp over US Treasuries and a reoffer price of 99.063.Bankers and investors alike spotte
