Chemicals producer SQM has agreed to invest $80m into the development of the Mount Holland lithium facility in Western Australia. The Chilean company, through a subsidiary, will also pay Kidman Resources $30m in exchange for 50% of a joint venture with the Australian company, a securities filing showed.
