Petrobras said it has received a new five-year export credit note (ECN) for BRL7bn ($2.16bn) from the government-owned lender Banco do Brasil.
The energy company also said it repaid a BRL6bn ECN from Banco do Brasil maturing in 2019.
"Petrobras will continue to assess new funding opportunities according to its liability management strategy, which aims to improve the amortization profile and reduce the cost of debt," the state-owned firm said in a statement.
