DomRep capitalizes on heavy investor interest with 2027 tap

The Dominican Republic added $500m to its 5.95% $1.2bn 2027 bonds, which the Caribbean sovereign issuer first printed in January of this year. Jefferies, Nicholas Company and Stifel led the retap and set initial price talk in the 5.25% area, debt capital markets sources said. The trio brought this in to 5.125% at guidance, before pricing the trade to yield 5.1%, or a reoffer price of 106.382. The 2027s were spotted at 5% prior to the retap's announcement, offering very little for a yie
