The European Investment Bank (EIB) is analyzing $245m in loans for public transit, water and solid waste projects in Argentina.
The development bank could provide $100m in financing for the $900m Rio Salado flood protection program in the province of Buenos Aires, according to documents on its website.
The EIB could also lend $100m towards $325m of improvements to the Buenos Aires subway system and $45m for a $90m solid waste management system in the province of Jujuy.
