Spain’s ACS has received $45m in long-term financing for a new hydroelectric plant in the region of Junin, Peru, LatinFinance has confirmed.
Peru’s development bank Cofide provided the 15-year loan through the local commercial bank BCP. Cofide and BCP previously supplied a $33m loan through a cofinancing agreement in October last year.
Grupo Cobra, a holding company owned by ACS, will use the proceeds to pay back the October loan and finish construction on the 19.9 MW RenovAndes H1 plant. The
