Acciona has asked the IIC for up to $180m in a revolving credit facility to finance the construction of sewage systems and wastewater treatment plants in Paraguay.
The Spanish developer will make dollar-denominated milestone payments called CRPago from the public works and communications ministry MOPC during construction. Acciona will then sell the certificates to long-term investors and use proceeds to repay the loan, the IIC said.
