The IFC and Amundi aim to raise $2bn for a green bond fund, looking to expand financing alternatives for sustainable projects in emerging markets.
The multilateral lender said it will invest up to $325m in the Green Cornerstone Bond Fund to buy green bonds issued by banks from Latin America, Africa, Asia, Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
