Aela Energia requested $175m from the IIC to build two new wind farms in Chile.
Aela is building the 170 MW Sarco wind project in the Atacama Region and the 129 MW Aurora wind farm in the Los Lagos Region. The two projects are backed by 20-year power purchase agreements at an average rate of $78.80 per megawatt hour.
The IIC board is scheduled to make a decision on the Aela loan on May 30.
