BNDES approves financing for transmission, wind projects

BNDES said it has approved BRL3.41bn ($1.1bn) in financing to build transmission lines and wind power projects in Brazil. The national development bank allotted BRL2.56bn for the construction of two transmission lines from the Belo Monte hydroelectric dam on the Xingu River in the northern state of Para.
