The Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) said it has arranged $78m in financing for a hydropower and transmission line project in Ecuador.
The IIC lent $10m directly to Hidrowarm, the company charged with building and operating the Normandia project, and organized a $34m B loan from Cordiant, Oikocredit, Triodos Groenfonds and Corporacion Interamericana para el Financiamiento de Infraestructura (CIFI).
The 11-year financing package includes a $24m loan from the Dutch development bank FMO
