Mexico City Airport trust has sold $2bn in international green bonds, a rare debt issue in Latin America’s capital markets. The airport operator, issuing green bonds through a special purpose trust connected to development bank Nafin, finished a global roadshow earlier this week, and sources were confident it would issue the bonds after the US Fed made its decision to hold interest rates.
