Anglo American has agreed to sell its niobium and phosphate businesses in Brazil to China Molybdenum for $1.5bn in cash, it said.The mining company began a restructuring process in December last year, saying it planned to sell between $3bn and $4bn in assets in 2016. In February this year it started discussions to sell the niobium and phosphate divisions in Brazil.
