TerraForm Global, a yield company owned by US renewable energy developer SunEdison, said it has scrapped plans to buy Costa Rica-based Globeleq Mesoamerica Energy (GME) because some lenders did not provide consents before the March 12 deadline.SunEdison had agreed to buy GME in June last year for $326m from private equity funds Actis and Mesoamerica Power Limited.
