Cabei beefs up debut Kangaroo bond

The Central American Bank for Economic Integration (Cabei) has upsized its maiden Kangaroo bond, selling AUD75m ($56.4m) to institutional investors from Australia and Japan. The bookrunners Daiwa and Deutsche Bank opened initial price talk at 180bp over asset swaps, looking to print AUD50m, but investor demand allowed Cabei to add AUD25m to the issue, Ricardo Rico, the bank’s head of debt capital markets said. The order books reached AUD75m on Thursday afternoon, with Japanese account
