Bermudian insurer sells 2026 bonds

Bermuda's Sirius International Insurance Group tapped bond investors for $400m in senior 2026 notes, a debt capital markets banker said. Bookrunners ABC International, Citi, China Bank of Communications, HSBC, Hung Kai, JPMorgan, and Wells Fargo priced the transaction at a fixed coupon of 4.6%, the same banker said. The Carribean insurer will use proceeds to repay $400m of its 6.375% 2017 notes and for general corporate purposes, S&P Global Ratings said in a press release.
