Colombia’s government will auction its 57.6% stake in electricity provider Isagen on January 13, it said.
French utility firm Engie, Canada’s Brookfield Asset Management and Chinese state-owned power generator Huadian Corporation are understood to be pre-qualified for the auction. Spain’s Gas Natural and Chilean utility Colbun have also previously indicated interest in the asset.
