IDB lends to Chilean solar plants

The Inter-American Development Bank is lending $52.7m to fund two solar-power plants in Chile. The IDB is lending $27m to Arica Solar Generacion 1, which is owned by Hong Kong-based Sky Solar Holdings. The money is coming from its ordinary fund, its clean technology fund and its China co-financing fund for Latin America and the Caribbean.
