EM equity funds have extended their current inflow streak to 29 straight weeks. They remain firmly on course to set a new yearly record, says EPFR Global. In the week ended December 15, they absorbed $812m, according to EPFR and Barclays. Year-to-date EM equity funds absorbed $82.7bn. Meanwhile, Lipper data show that EM funds' losing 0.16% in the week ended December 16. They are still up 16.03% ytd. LatAm funds meanwhile gained 0.49% in the week and are up 14.45% ytd and global small and mid cap funds gained 0.38% in the week and are up 20.95% ytd.
