EM equity funds raked in a net $2.3bn in the week ended December 9, compared to a much weaker $448m in net inflows the previous week, according to EPFR. That brought YTD inflows to a record $75.4bn, well above the $54.0bn record set in 2007, and leaves total AUM for EM equity at $235.9bn. The accumulated flow numbers for EM stand in stark contrast to the $83bn that has left developed market equity funds this year, notes the service.
