Unibanco, one of Brazil's largest banks, has a solid history of capital markets activity dating back to the 1950s, acting both for itself and its clients. The bank began raising money in the international markets in the early 1990s and often paved the way in a variety of currencies for other Brazilian private sector borrowers.
