Wortman Joins JP In November, JP Morgan appointed Charles Wortman as the new head of its Brazilian unit. Wortman replaces Patrick Morin, who is leaving JP Morgan after a 31-year career. Morin was appointed country manager for Brazil in 2000 and will become consultant for the bank. Wortman currently heads JP's Latin American power and energy group in New York and will take up his new post in São Paulo where he will work with Luiz Chrysostomo, JP's head of investment banking in Brazil.
